I was excited to meet him. I gripped on to bouquet of lovely red roses as my hormones was doing somersaults.I was nervous and shy and overjoyed and oh what not as my eyes were searching for each and every person checking out of the arrival terminal in the Chennai international airport. The electronic board displayed that the flight had landed about fourty five minutes ago. But he was not to be seen. Did I miss him? Was I day dreaming to the song Tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam? May be he was waiting to collect his luggage. Well,I could no longer wait. My eyes were scanning everywhere for him. Still no sight of him. Looks like I had lost him in the crowd.
I had been waiting for this moment for the last 5 months from the day he was back to the UK after our engagement. And when the moment did finally arrive I so badly missed it. The most precious moment of my life is gone...Sigh..

Then there was a tap on my right shoulder and I turned around to find him smile wickedly. His eyes were searching mine. Our eyes speaking million zillion words in a fraction of second making up for all those 5 months gap.
Seeing the bouquet in my hand he asked with a smile " I guess, those are for me?"
He stayed overnight in my place. It was morning. He forgot to pack his toothbrush. He asked me if I have a spare one. I searched my usual stock of toothbrush but alas there was none left. Especially at the time when u need something you would not find it in the first place. I got myself ready to buy a new one from a store just across the road. But something stopped me. Then an idea struck me. But not knowing how he would react, I decided to keep it with myself and started heading out when he asked "Give me yours!" I turned and looked up at him shocked. So we had the same thought. Fluttering with excitement I gave my toothbrush to him. This is what people call chemistry. But for me it is toothbrush love which is lasting for over 7 years!
